Manta Ray Welcome — 10:00 a.m.
Start your Open House experience with a high-energy welcome to FSCJ! Meet Rayzor Ray, hear a quick overview of what to expect throughout the day, and get ready to explore programs, resources, student support, and your next steps.
Come early! The first arrivals will receive an FSCJ T-shirt while supplies last, and guests will have opportunities to win door prizes throughout the event.
Information Sessions
Choose from a variety of sessions designed to help you learn more about FSCJ, explore your options, and feel confident about your next steps. Information sessions will be offered between 10:30 a.m. and noon. Specific session times and locations will be added closer to the event, so you can plan which sessions you’d like to attend while still having plenty of time to explore Open House.

Open House will be held at FSCJ’s Downtown Campus. Free event parking will be available in the FSCJ parking lots 5 & 6 at 101 W. State Street.

Open House is your opportunity to explore all things FSCJ in one place! Meet programs and resources, learn about your options, attend information sessions, get help with admissions and financial aid, and start taking your next steps.
- Who should attend?
Anyone interested in FSCJ! Whether you’re a current high school student planning for what comes after graduation, a recent graduate, an adult considering a career change, or looking to upskill or earn a new credential, there is something for you at Open House.
- Is the event free?
Yes! FSCJ Open House is completely free to attend.
- Do I need to register?
Registration is strongly encouraged so we can prepare for your visit and keep you updated with important event information.
- Can my family attend with me?
Absolutely! Parents, guardians, family members, and supporters are encouraged to attend. Please let us know how many guests you plan to bring, so we can better plan for your visit.
- What time should I arrive?
Plan to arrive by the start of the event! We’ll kick off Open House with a big FSCJ welcome shortly after doors open before you head out to explore. You won’t want to miss the official start of the day! 🌊
- What happens when I arrive?
Start at event check-in! You’ll receive an Open House map and event information to help you find programs, resources, information sessions and activities throughout the day. After our opening welcome, you’ll be ready to explore!
- How will I know where to go?
We’ve got you covered! Your Open House map will show you where programs, resources, information sessions and activities are located. FSCJ staff and volunteers will also be throughout the event to help you find your way.
- Where should I park?
Free parking is available throughout Downtown Campus. Follow event signage upon arrival.

- Do I have to be ready to apply to attend?
Not at all! Open House is a great place to start exploring. Come learn about your options, ask questions and see what FSCJ has to offer—even if you’re not ready to apply yet.
- Can I apply to FSCJ at Open House?
Yes! Our team will be available to help you complete your FSCJ application and understand what comes next. If you’re ready to get started, we encourage you to take advantage of the hands-on help available during the event.
- Can I get help with FAFSA and financial aid?
Yes! Financial Aid representatives will be available to answer questions and help with the FAFSA process. If you plan to work on your FAFSA during Open House, come prepared with your FSA ID and the information needed to complete your application
- Can I speak with an advisor?
Limited advising staff may be available during the FSCJ College-wide Open House to provide general information about programs, pathways, admissions requirements, and next steps.
Please note that advising offices will not be conducting individual advising appointments, course planning, or registration sessions during the event. However, our team can help answer general questions, assist with the application process, and guide you through your next steps toward becoming an FSCJ student.
- Will there be scholarship opportunities?
Yes! 🎉 Scholarships will be awarded during Open House! Additional information about scholarship opportunities and eligibility will be shared at the event.
- Are there information sessions?
Yes! Information sessions will be offered throughout the day on topics including Why FSCJ, Financial Aid & Scholarships, College Readiness, and Application & Next Steps. Check the event schedule for specific session times.
- Do I have to attend an information session?
No. Information sessions are optional! Choose the sessions that are most helpful to you and spend the rest of your time exploring everything Open House has to offer.
- What should I bring?
Bring your questions and come ready to explore! If you plan to complete your FSCJ application or work on your FAFSA, we recommend bringing the information and documents you may need to complete those steps.
- How long should I plan to stay?
We encourage you to arrive for our opening welcome and give yourself plenty of time to explore! With programs, resources, information sessions, application and FAFSA assistance, there will be plenty to see and do throughout the event.
- What if I have questions during the event?
Just ask us! FSCJ staff and volunteers will be throughout Open House to help you find your way, answer questions and connect you with the right FSCJ resource.
